Nurse Aide Training Program
Derai Health Training Center is a Virginia State Approved Nurse Aide Training program State Certification
Upon Successful completion of the Nurse Aide training program, students will be eligible to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Examination. The NNAAP examination is made up of a written and a skill evaluation. To be a certified nurse aide in Virginia you must pass both part of the exam. After certification by the state, the opportunity to work with hospitals, doctors offices, assisted living facilities, and home health agency is greatly enhanced.
Derai Health Training Center Nurse Aide Training program is designed to prepare you to take the NNAAP Exam. The training you receive at Derai Health Training Center includes, but are not limited to, Hygiene, dressing, grooming, nutrition, hydration, elimination emotional, infection control and vital signs. There are a total of 22 skills that are taught through lectures, videos and hands on training. .

Derai Health Training Center Policy Please submit the following within 1st week of class:
● TB skin test or chest X-ray within the past year
● Criminal background check within one (1) month; felonies and certain mis-demeanors will prevent admission
● If you are pregnant, a letter from a physician is required giving permission to attend clinicals
● 2 forms of ID, one must be a government issued photo ID, as well as social security card
